One of the key highlights of El Condor is its happy hour specials, where delicious cocktails and hearty appetizers are served at wallet-friendly prices. During my visit, I was drawn to the classic margaritas and the loaded carnitas tacos, each bursting with flavor and finesse. The mushroom tacos, though slightly unremarkable on their own, became a delightful treat with a touch of fresh guacamole, a staple at this venue that many rave about. Customers rave about the nachos, while the chips and salsa combo is a must-have starter, showcasing the freshness that defines El Condor's menu.
But the true charm of El Condor lies in the sense of community fostered by its attentive staff. Guests like Enda G. and Karen C. have noted the exceptional service, with staff members who genuinely connect with patrons, making you feel at home whether you’re here for a casual drink, a celebratory dinner, or even a family outing. The energy is infectious, often elevated by live music and an enthusiastic crowd that brings life to the outdoor seating area.

It's wheelchair accessible and accommodating to all guests, ensuring everyone finds their place at the table. Plus, the presence of valet and street parking options, albeit sometimes challenging, add to the convenience of this popular spot.
In conclusion, El Condor is more than just a cocktail bar—it's a local treasure that captures the essence of good food, great drinks, and warm camaraderie. Whether you're a Silverlake local or just passing through, this bar promises a fulfilling and laid-back experience with every visit. Come for the tacos, stay for the memories!

El Condor: My New Forever Local I was at home, questioning my entire life direction, when I decided to take a walk--just aimless wandering down Sunset Boulevard. Some friends were out, but one was stuck on an awkward date, so I was flying solo. Then, through the haze of my existential pondering, I saw it: a warm, candle-lit glow, earthy browns, a lively bar, good music. Something about it felt right. I poked my head through the curtain, and that's when I met the vision that is Alexis. "Happy St. Patrick's Day!" she said, instantly welcoming me into the fold. Next thing I knew, I had a free IPA in my hand. Then another. And another. Six free IPAs later, my friend Benjamin was enjoying a Topo Chico hard seltzer, David was deep into a Golden State cider (which I also enjoyed), and I had found my new forever local. I will die here. Somewhere between drinks and conversation, Alexis told me the tragic tale of a friend who is full-blown Irish, and apparently, there's no hope for him. Still, we all came together over a drink, proving that even the most lost souls can find solace at the right bar. It's like Cheers, but for people who aren't old and suicidal. And honestly, I might order some food now because this place just feels right.

We came here for the superbowl and had a great experience. Alexis was very welcoming and gave us amazing service!! Definitely recommend! Good food and drinks.

Neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Felt like it has a lot of repeat business from the people who live in the area and can simply walk from their homes. Staff appeared to know customers who walked in. Everything we ordered was good. The mushroom taco could have used a fat in it or a creamy sauce, so we added a dollop of the guacamole we ordered. Chips were fresh. All of the items we tried were hot and fresh. Staff was kind. Atmosphere is casual. Street parking is difficult in this area, especially on weekends. We parked several blocks down and walked back up Sunset. Definitely will go back.

niki tank you for good service food is good. Good tacos good prices and I love the Music

Rolled through on a Saturday afternoon and the vibes here are always great. Lots of table space as well as standing space, and there was a DJ Nachos are a must-have here, and the chips and salsa were really yummy. The carnitas tacos are loaded up and were honestly worth it for $7.50/each, I got a classic margarita and it was perfect. Our server was super kind, gave great recs, and took great care of our table. Parking in the area is a bit challenging, but you'll always find something if you're willing to walk a bit ;) mainly meters or residential parking (be aware of parking restrictions) The food, drinks, and vibes are consistently good every time I come. Highly recommend dropping in!

Went for happy hour on a Thursday. Pretty hip spot, bartenders are attentive to your drink levels and ready to replace it with a new one if asked. Once our party grew over three we moved outside, also someone had a baby and no babies allowed at the bar! Outdoor seating is wonderful for people watching as they walk by and the temperature is really nice on a summer evening. Free refills on chips but not on the salsa. The guac was great, you can tell that real avocados were involved. The salsa is smooth for the most part with a little chunks of tomato in it, the slightly spicy kick to it was addictive. I had a classic margarita with a salt rim and was happy with the tart refreshing flavor. Great prices for LA just parking is a bit of a hassle and might have a couple hours free in surrounding streets.

First time at El Condor! I'm from Texas, where we have great Tex mex and chill joints like this make me so happy. This place has some great food! And we went on Margarita Monday - drinks for 8$! The shrimp quesadilla was super tasty, I could tell the quality of cheese was excellent. The chicharrones were crispy and flavorful, the aioli was a nice touch for dipping. Service was nice, host was adorable and very kind. Our server was great & not overwhelming or obsequious. I got the asada taco and chorizo taco for my main meal. I wouldn't recommend the chorizo taco - it was too greasy & too rich for me. I enjoy chorizo in a breakfast taco but not just a big blob in a tortilla.. the asada was nice. Ambiance is great for people watching and the location is my favorite too in Silverlake - lots to do after dinner, if you want to go to more bars or dessert. I'll come back! Thanks for the good vibes :)
